There are 80 recognized Mercedes-Benz brand clubs, and one that is exciting and unique is the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Club. Why is this club exclusive? This club really represents the heritage of what Mercedes-Benz stands for when meeting annually.
The extraordinary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Club got discovered in 1978, and in this year's meeting in Stuttgart, there was a unique opportunity that was presented. The members had the great opportunity to have a day out on the test track. All of the vehicles that were there play a part in the history of the brand. With approximately 300 members to the club, the annual meetings allow for everyone to get together. At this year’s event, there were 87 of the remarkable 300 SL models. This international meeting even had the President of the Mercedes-Benz Club South Africa as a guest. All of the guests also had fun events to take part of while at the meeting. For example, a roll-over simulator was present as well as a unique tour in a fashionable Setra coach. Everyone there got to see the dynamics that embody a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
