A good roadside emergency kit should include things like a first aid kit, a set of jumper cables, a gas can, and a can of tire inflator. You should also make sure that you pack a basic automotive tool kit and an auto repair manual as well as a copy of essential documents such as your insurance card, roadside assistance card, IDs for all family members and a prepaid debit card with a little extra money on it for gas or other needs related to your breakdown.
