It's going to be a top down, fun in the sun ride in Mercedes-Benz's newest member of the luxury convertible family, the all-new 2018 E-Class Cabriolet. The luxury convertible has been redone with new technology for a quieter cabin while the top is down and a powerful, eco-friendly engine that delivers an unmatched ride.
We all love driving with the top down on beautiful sunny days, but for those with long hair there is the constant battel of keeping the hair out of your face and under control. The clever engineers at Mercedes-Benz have come up with the AIRCAP system to virtually eliminate drafts while driving with the top down. The AIRCAP system works due to the added wind deflector above the windshield and a mesh power screen between the rear head restraints, so you can feel the breeze but not the wind.
The E-Class Cabriolet Convertible is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine equipped with standard ECO Start/Stop system for a fast and fuel efficient ride. The strong and smooth V6 biturbo engine delivers 329 horsepower and goes from zero to 60 in just 6.4 seconds, while the ECO Start/Stop feature saves on fuel. The ECO Star/Stop system will automatically shut off the engine at stoplights or other idling situations, and as soon as you let off the break the engine instantly restarts.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet is making its big stage debut this week at the Geneva International Auto Show. We are excited to learn more about the new Mercedes-Benz convertible.
