Getting a flat tire can feel like the end of the world, especially the first time, but, with a few instructions in hand, you can change a flat tire in no time.

The first instruction would be to find shelter from traffic. You're going to be outside of your car, on the ground, so you want to be away from any car that might not spot you out on the road. Next, you want to place a jack under the car and lift the car approximately 12 inches from its original spot. This will give you a better angle when unscrewing the flat tire. After taking the flat tire off, it must be placed in a designated area so that it will not affect anyone else on the road; a dumpster would be best. You will then screw the new tire on, slowly bring the car back down, and then take the jack away.
