Have brakes that need to be repaired? Try not to put it off. Brake failure is serious and can put you, your passengers, and other drivers at risk. Rather than putting yourself and others in jeopardy, check out the following two ways you can tell when it is time for your brakes to be inspected:

1. Metal on Metal: Do you hear screeching, grinding or metal on metal sounds upon stopping your vehicle? This isn't good. In fact, it is often one of the most for sure signs that your brakes are on their way towards failure. If you've noticed that your brakes have been making a lot of noise lately, call your mechanic.

2. Vibrating: Does your vehicle vibrate or rattle upon coming to a complete stop? This is often an indicator of a serious brake issue involving your rotors. Get in touch with the shop and schedule an appointment, as soon as you can.
