Mercedes-Benz’s new CLA gives drivers the most technologically advanced controls available in a luxury sedan. The curved cockpit display is entirely digital, its pleasing layout both an efficient readout of real time information and a source for a range of entertainment options. Both driver and passengers can also control multiple climate zones including heated and cooled seats for the ultimate in comfortable driving.
All controls use either touchscreen or voice activation for safe, hands free use while driving. Drivers can ask the vehicle to plot a navigation route, raise, lower or change the color of the ambient lighting, display outside temperature or a range of other tasks. Remote door locking, startup and current vehicle status are easy to access from a distance using a smartphone app. The CLA can also function as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices for on the go information and entertainment.
